Mini Golf Battle is a sport game that features golf skill elements. On a beach near the ocean, the player tries their hand at overcoming level after level of putt-putt challenges on courses designed with different shapes and sizes.
Each course has a two-tone green striped surface, light tan sidewalls, and a hole marked with a black-and-white-checkered flag. The player receives a limited number of shots, as noted next to a white ball icon below the upper-center level sign. They must hit the ball with an invisible putter that has a directional arrow pointer. Their goal is to drop the ball into the hole before they run out of hits.
The player must also contend with bumpers and other objects that can block the ball's trajectory, water traps that make the ball non-retrievable, wet sand that slow's the ball's speed, and other obstacles. With excellent spatial awareness, accurate shot estimates and precise movements, they can direct the ball past or through gaps or use obstacles to make angled shots.
Mini Golf Battle has three booster-style tools in the lower-right area. That said, these tools don't always work, which means that the player must primarily rely upon their skill and the targeting arrow to win. If the player runs out of balls, they can earn extra with ad views. They can also retry or skip the level.
